I almost - almost - didn’t make a Skaven character name generator for Warhammer Fantasy and The Old World. I already made one for Age of Sigmar, and in the millennia between worlds the Skaven have barely changed at all. It would have been the easiest thing in the world to add Warhammer Fantasy and The Old World logos to the old generator and call it a day. But I didn’t do that.
The fact is, the Skaven may not have changed much, but they’ve changed just enough to make a combined character name generator feel a little off. My earlier generator includes references to things in AoS that no Skaven in the Old World would even have heard of. By the same token, this new Skaven name generator includes extra material that’s a little more tailored to the loathsome rat-men as they were in the Warhammer Fantasy setting. No matter which setting they’ve gnawed their way into the Skaven are a Warhammer staple, and they deserve the extra effort!
This name generator is perfect for naming your Skaven heroes, characters and champions, whether you’re fielding them in Warhammer The Old World or Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It’s also handy for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. I hope you like it!
