Black Legion - Character Name Generator

Praise be to the ruinous powers! Last week I had some misgivings over my Craftworld Aeldari generator, but I have no such misgivings today! I’m very pleased with this Black Legion character name generator, and I hope you’ll enjoy it too.
There are a lot of moving parts working away behind the scenes of my random generators, and that inevitably leads to some awkward-sounding combinations. They all go through some degree of tweaking to keep this awkwardness to a minimum, and the success of that process can vary. Last week wasn’t quite as successful as I’d ideally like but this - this one really works! Hardly an awkward name in sight! To me, the vast majority of the Black Legion names generated here feel like they could have been taken straight from a codex or Black Library novel, and that’s exactly as it should be. Phew!
One of the fun aspects of putting this generator together was being able to take influences from some of the material I’d already developed for various god-specific name generators. The Black Legion switches it’s godly allegiance on a whim and accepts Chaos worshippers of all stripes, so it’s cool to see these subtle references to Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch popping up in the name and title results. That said, this is still mostly new material crafted with the Black Legion and Chaos Undivided specifically in mind - the minions of the might Despoiler deserve no less!
This name generator is perfect for narrative play in the 41st millennium, whether you're naming your heroes in Warhammer 40,000 or each and every squad member in Kill Team. I hope you like it!
