Season’s greeting once again, and welcome to the first of many character name generators focusing on the somehow-even-more-bleak, Warhammer Age of Sigmar spin-off game, Warcry. Yes, I know the official rulebook already has character name generators included for each of the core Chaos warbands, but we all know that they obviously borrowed the idea from this very website, so let’s just call this a ‘cyclical process of renewal and growth’.

Growth really is the operative word here - I’ve blitzed the handful of names in the official Iron Golem generator down into itsy-bitsy fragments, sprinkled in a ton of additional ones based on my interpretation of the warband’s cultural influences, added a dash of extra narrative sauce (to get those character backstory ideas flowing), then allowed it all to blend together at random with the click of a button. Chaotic, but occasionally tasty!

This name generator is perfect for naming your Iron Golem characters and heroes for narrative play in Warcry, or even if you’re including them in a Slaves to Darkness force for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Enjoy!
