Welcome to The Hobbyist’s Review, a semi-regular series in which I take a different look at Warhammer game books, old and new. This time I'm taking a look at Broken Realms: Morathi, the first in a new series of campaign books for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
Maggotkin of Nurgle manages to evoke some interesting ideas beyond the standard rotting flesh and rusty axes. The shift in focus to incorporate the cycle of life opens up new possibilities, and there are lore fragments that could inspire a very distinctive force.

I was lucky enough to grab a copy of the Cursed City hardback novel and, though there remains a big question mark over whether the novel will ever appear in paperback, it's still available as both an eBook and an audio book. I've read the book and I have opinions - opinions that I will now form into a series of words and sentences.
